Colliers represented Scannell in the sale and will handle leasing and marketing for Airport Distribution Center II

Scannell Properties has sold its Airport Distribution Center speculative building to CEEUS, Inc., an electric utility company that supplies products to electric cooperatives across South Carolina, who will use the building as a distribution facility.

Chuck Salley, SIOR, Dave Mathews, SIOR, Thomas Beard, SIOR and John Peebles of Colliers | South Carolina represented the seller, Scannell Properties, and George McCutchen, CCIM, SIOR and James Rogers, SIOR of Wilson Kibler, Inc. represented the purchaser, CEEUS, in the transaction.

Airport Distribution Center is a 247,000-square-foot, Class A building that features 32-foot clear heights, 62 trailer parking spaces, 22 dock-high doors, an ESFR fire suppression system and LED lighting. The development is located at the intersection of Platt Springs Road and Colite Drive on the border of CAE Enterprise Park, which is home to Flex, Harsco Rail, L&L Products, CEEUS, Inc., Allied Air Enterprises, Beverage South and Ferrous Engineering and Tool.

Scannell has set its sights on a second West Columbia development, Airport Distribution Center II, located near CAE at 3965 Platt Springs Road. The planned speculative building will consist of 310,000 square feet, 32-foot clear heights, 72 trailer parking spaces, 28 dock-high doors, an ESFR fire suppression system and LED lighting.
